To improve the quality of life for the people of Lowell through education and through the creation, conservation, and preservation of parks, open spaces, and special places.

Your support enables us to “create community through conservation.” As an urban conservation group our impact is deep in the community. We provide high quality STEM-based afterschool programming to over 1,000 students per year. As a nationally accredited land trust, we protect conservation land in Lowell and are working to protect the last family farm in Lowell. Every program impacts our community’s ability to be resilient to climate change. We offer over 70 free programs to community members – from birding to local trail walks. In addition, we offer a range of volunteer opportunities – from park stewardship to caring for threatened turtles and monitoring fish passage on our rivers.
