Mission Statement
The Foundation for Living Beauty aims to educate, uplift and empower women with cancer by providing them with opportunities to explore wellness and healing modalities while also developing a sense of community with other women along the same path.
Why Donate to The Foundation for Living Beauty?
A cancer diagnosis for many women can negatively affect different aspects of their lives including physical wellbeing, emotional health, self-esteem and community support. Our goal is to provide women with education, knowledge and skills that facilitate long-term healing to reduce the risk of isolation, depression and other overall health issues that negatively affect a woman’s ability to continue to thrive with a cancer diagnosis. Many women do not have access to the resources to aid them with the physical and emotional challenges of their cancer journey. Living Beauties are provided with a vast array of programs like yoga4cancer, energy healing, plant-based nutrition, mindfulness, meditation, and more all at no cost to the women we serve! Access to education about holistic wellness, nutritional support, modified physical activity, and a dynamic socio-emotional support system are critical to improving their health outcomes and the Foundation for Living Beauty’s commitment to providing this to women with cancer sets us apart from cancer research organizations.
