FOUR PAWS is the global animal welfare organization for animals under direct human influence, which reveals suffering, rescues animals in need, and protects them.

FOUR PAWS seeks to protect animals under direct human influence, rescues animals in need, and fights for legislative changes to ensure the long-term improvement of animal welfare worldwide. We establish and operate 12 sanctuaries around the globe, where wild animals rescued from abusive captivity find a species-appropriate home for the remainder of their lifetime.
FOUR PAWS provides a safe home in our global sanctuaries for wild animals such as big cats, bears, orangutans, and elephants rescued from inappropriate keeping conditions or the illegal wildlife trade. When you make a gift to FOUR PAWS, you support all aspects of the FOUR PAWS mission. You help companion animals survive the dog and cat meat trade, you make it possible to rescue captive animals from war torn countries providing them with lifetime peace and care in our sanctuaries, and you help feed and tend to the animal victims of the global pandemic.
