Mission Statement
JA of Northern California inspires and prepares young people to succeed in a global economy. Through volunteer-delivered, kindergarten-12th grade programs JA fosters work-readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy skills to encourage youth from all backgrounds to dream big and reach their potential. We know that by educating the future workforce in a way that traditional classroom curriculum cannot, they will solve for many of the world’s challenges—income inequality, opportunity gap, sustainability, etc…by making informed and strategic decisions early in life to position them well for a prosperous future.

By bringing corporate mentors into the mix who look like they do, who have experienced a life as a youth similar to theirs but who have prevailed and can show them a path forward, JA is uniquely positioned for maximum impact. Our events are delivered virtually, hybrid and in person meeting our students where they are 24/7. We activate cutting edge technology that can be accessed in the classroom, on a bus or at home on multiple platforms with the click of a button on any device.
