Mission Statement
The British Red Cross is there for people when crisis strikes. No matter who they are, no matter where the emergency is, we can get life-changing help to those who need it most. From assisting people who are affected by the Ukraine conflict and supporting families who are affected by the Africa food crisis, to helping people struggling with the cost of living crisis in the UK.

In the unlikely event that we raise more money than can be reasonably and efficiently spent, any surplus funds from the Ukraine Crisis Appeal will be used to help us prepare for and respond to other humanitarian disasters anywhere in the world. The Gaza Crisis appeal will support people in areas affected and those potentially affected in the future by this crisis.
