Julius has the distinction of being the first NFT Twitter avatar to represent a nonprofit. Julius is a Bored Ape from Yuga Labs’ legendary Bored Ape Yacht Club NFT collection. After receiving generous donations from the Yuga Labs team, Orangutan Outreach’s founder, Richard Zimmerman, embraced the crypto and NFT communities authentically. Recently, Julius has starred in an animated video series that raises awareness for orangutan rescue and rehabilitation.
