Mission Statement
Founded in 2007 this organisation’s mission is empowering everyone to build a better Hong Kong through volunteering. HandsOn Hong Kong partners with under-resourced non-profits to run and create impactful service programs and energizes the city’s volunteers to drive meaningful change in their community.
HandsOn runs 200+ volunteer activities each month as a free public service, supporting more than 120+ frontline charities and social purpose organisations. Each day of the year their volunteers provide food assistance to low-income families, care for the elderly, give respite for carers, build confidence in children with disabilities, support animal welfare, advocate for reduced single-use plastics, and more.
In a single year HandsOn enables Hongkongers to serve and uplift over 72,000 vulnerable community members through thousands of programs.
