How does the matching campaign work?
Donations made on or after March 15, 2022 will be eligible for the match, until the match has been fulfilled.
- $5M of the match will be allocated to donations to The Giving Block’s Impact Index Funds, including the Crypto Adoption Fund
- $5M of the match will be allocated to donations to individual nonprofits on The Giving Block
How long will the Caring with Crypto Match campaign last?
The Caring with Crypto Match campaign will last from March 15th, 2022 through December 31, 2022 or until $10,000,000 in crypto donations have been made, whichever is sooner (“Campaign Period”).
How will the Caring with Crypto Match work?
Each cryptocurrency donation made via The Giving Block (“TGB) platform during the Campaign Period to an individual non-profit on the TBG platform, TGB’s Crypto Adoption Fund or TGB’s “impact index of funds” will be matched by Jared Isaacman (individually or through a foundation set up for the purposes of making such donations) (“Foundation”) up to $10,000,000 (collectively, the “Caring with Crypto Match”).
The matching of donations will be made on a first come first serve basis up to $10,000,000 and will be distributed to each non-profit or Impact Index Fund in the amount equal to the donations made during the Campaign Period.
$5,000,000 of the match will be allocated to donations to The Giving Block’s Impact Index Funds, including the Crypto Adoption Fund.
$5,000,0000 of the match will be allocated to donations to individual nonprofits on The Giving Block.
As of April 1st, the 1:1 match is limited to donations made in support of The Giving Block’s Impact Index Funds and Fundraisers. All direct matching donations have been utilized.
What charities are eligible for the Caring with Crypto Match?
Any charity that is enrolled on the TGB platform during the Campaign Period. You can find a list of charities on The Giving Block located here.
What is the maximum amount of the Caring with Crypto Match?
The Foundation will match up to $10,000,000 (“Match Cap”). This will be separated into two pools of matching dollars:
- $5,000,000 of the match will be allocated to donations to The Giving Block’s Impact Index Funds, including the Crypto Adoption Fund.
- $5,000,0000 of the match will be allocated to donations to individual nonprofits on The Giving Block.
As of April 1st, the 1:1 match is limited to donations made in support of The Giving Block’s Impact Index Funds and Fundraisers. All direct matching donations have been utilized.
When will the charities get their funds from the Caring with Crypto Match?
The Foundation will match the donations made during the Campaign Period monthly with the first match contribution being made on May 1st, 2022.
How will the match donations be made to each Eligible Charity?
The fees applicable to all cryptocurrency donations will apply to the Caring with Crypto Match.
Will the Caring with Crypto Match be in cryptocurrency or fiat?
Will pricing fluctuations of the Caring with Crypto Match as compared to when a donation is made change the value of the match?
Will other cash or credit card donations to charities be eligible for the matching from this Campaign.

Please note that there is the total Match Cap of $10,000,000 and then two sub-caps of $5,000,000 each as outlined above.

When I make a donation through TGB how does the process work?
When you make a donation, it will go to one of two places:
(a) directly to the individual charity-
(b) to the Impact Index of Funds, or
If you donate to an individual charity it will get your funds as soon as the transaction is confirmed on the blockchain.
If you donate to an Impact Index Fund each participating charity will receive funds on a monthly basis via the DAF.

- How long will Isaacman Match- Caring with Crypto campaign last?
The Isaacman Match will last from March 15th, 2022 through December 31, 2022 or until $10,000,000 in crypto donations have been made, whichever is sooner (“Isaacman Campaign Period”).
- How will the Isaacman Match work?
Each cryptocurrency donation made via The Giving Block platform during the Campaign Period to an individual non-profit on the The Giving Block platform or The Giving Block’s “Impact Index of Funds” will be matched by Jared Isaacman (individually or through a foundation set up for the purposes of making such donations) (“Foundation”) up to $10,000,000 (collectively, the “Isaacman Match”)

The Foundation will contribute to the Renaissance Charitable Foundation Donor-Advised Fund (“DAF”) which will distribute the proceeds to the charities as set forth above.
The fees applicable to all cryptocurrency donations will apply to the Isaacman Match.
- Will the Isaacman Match be in cryptocurrency or fiat?
The match will be made in fiat by the Foundation and will be converted into cryptocurrency by the DAF in order to be donated to the charities.
- Will pricing fluctuations of the Isaacman Match as compared to when a donation is made change the value of the match?
The value of the match contribution will be based upon the USD value of the cryptocurrency at the time of the donation. For example, if a donation of 1 ETH is worth $2,500 at the time of donation and $3,000 at the time of the match, then the Foundation will donate $2,500 in order to fulfill its obligations under the match.
- Will other cash or credit card donations to charities be eligible for the matching from this Campaign.
No. Only donations of cryptocurrency will be eligible for the match under this Campaign.
- What cryptocurrencies are accepted?
To view all cryptocurrencies accepted on The Giving Block, click the “other crypto options” drop-down menu in the Donation Form. You can see a list of cryptocurrencies accepted here.
- Will the charities be charged any fees for my donations?
Yes. The Giving Block, through its third-party cryptocurrency exchange charges The Giving Block’s standard processing fee on all donations.
- How will I know how much money has been raised and if the Cap has been reached?

- What if I want a refund from my donation?
All donations are final and will not be eligible for a refund.

If you provide your email address we will send you a tax receipt on behalf of the charity.
- Will the match be considered part of my individual donation?
No. You will only receive credit for the donation made by you.
- Will my identity be provided to the charity that I am donating to?
No. Only an email address should you choose to provide it.
- When I make a donation through The Giving Block how does the process work?
When you make a donation, it will go to one of two places:
(a) directly to the individual charity-
(b) to the Impact Index of Funds, or
If you donate to an individual charity it will get your funds within 7 days of your donation.
If you donate to an Impact Index Fund each participating charity will receive funds on a monthly basis via the DAF.
