Emergency Response Fund

Here’s how to help residents affected by the devastating storms.

Hurricane Helene Emergency Response Fund - Flood in Florida from hurricane

Since September 25th, the west coast of Florida has seen immense devastation following two major hurricanes – Helene and Milton.

Hurricane Helene caused widespread devastation across several southeastern U.S. states including Florida, North Carolina and Tennessee, with millions impacted by flooding and power outages. At the time of writing this, the storm has also tragically claimed over 200 lives, with hundreds more still unaccounted for, particularly in areas of North Carolina that have been isolated due to catastrophic flooding and landslides.

Hurricane Milton is expected to make landfall on the west coast of Florida in the early hours of October 10. With many of these communities still reeling from the devastation of Hurricane Helene, Hurricane Milton’s damage is predicted to be catastrophic.
