Hurricanes Helene & Milton
Emergency Response Fund
Here’s how to help residents affected by the devastating storms.
Since September 25th, the west coast of Florida has seen immense devastation following two major hurricanes – Helene and Milton.
Hurricane Helene caused widespread devastation across several southeastern U.S. states including Florida, North Carolina and Tennessee, with millions impacted by flooding and power outages. At the time of writing this, the storm has also tragically claimed over 200 lives, with hundreds more still unaccounted for, particularly in areas of North Carolina that have been isolated due to catastrophic flooding and landslides.
Hurricane Milton In the early hours of October 10, Hurricane Milton made landfall in Florida, devastating the west coast of Florida. With many of these communities still reeling from the devastation of Hurricane Helene, Hurricane Milton’s damage is extensive.
The Giving Block has set up an emergency response fund to provide support to charitable organizations working on the ground to assist with relief efforts.
To assist in these urgent relief efforts, consider making a donation to our fund. Your generous gift will support numerous charities providing emergency medical care, food, shelter, and other forms of aid.
