Last year, CARE reached more than 174 million people in 111 countries with humanitarian relief and poverty-fighting programs. However, continued fallout from COVID-19 combined with climate-driven disasters, health epidemics, and conflicts threaten already fragile communities with deeper levels of poverty and suffering – pushing equality for women and girls increasingly out of reach. Bold ideas and fast action are needed to accelerate progress for women and families around the world. ​Â
