Mission Statement
To change the lives of children with cancer through funding impactful research, raising awareness, supporting families, and empowering everyone to help cure childhood cancer. Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF) funds childhood cancer research and provides travel assistance to families with a child undergoing cancer treatment. Additionally, ALSF does in-house research through its Childhood Cancer Data Lab, which builds AI tools for cancer researchers to use.
Why Donate to Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation ?
The Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF) has long supported decentralized and open-sourced projects by requiring that grant recipients make their findings available to other researchers and by posting updates from its Childhood Cancer Data Lab at https://github.com/AlexsLemonade. Now, ALSF is taking the next step in this direction by creating a grant that will be distributed entirely in Bitcoin. All cryptocurrency donated will be held as cryptocurrency and, ultimately, converted to Bitcoin before being distributed to a grant recipient.
