Mission Statement

Alliance for Safety and Justice is building a movement to replace our nation’s broken mass incarceration system with a new vision for public safety. We’re a team of campaigners, organizers, lawyers, policy experts and grassroots members working to reduce incarceration and increase investments in what we call shared safety —prevention, rehabilitation, support for crime survivors, and reentry support for people with convictions.
