Why donate to Latet?
As Israel’s leading nonprofit combating poverty and food insecurity, Latet acts as a non-governmental, non-political and non-partisan organization that is providing assistance to all sectors of the country, regardless of religion, race, gender, culture or nationality, including support to refugees in the country.
Thanks to strategic partnerships within the food sector and support from philanthropic institutions within the country, and abroad, Latet has succeeded to reach a leverage of 1:10, allowing us to assist 10 times more than we spend. With a low overhead of 6% overall and with the help of 27,000 volunteers annually, Latet succeeds to provide life-changing assistance to Israeli families, Holocaust survivors and elderly citizens by providing monthly food assistance all year round.
