BLOOM Charity builds "PlayGardens" in Moroccan orphanages; safe spaces where vulnerable children can build the cognitive, physical, and social-emotional skills required for a healthy, happy, productive life. The PlayGardens can be realized as indoor or outdoor play spaces, sports courts, fitness rooms and more. Each space is creatively and carefully designed to meet the specific needs of the children living in the orphanage and the constraints of the space available. In just four years, BLOOM Charity has built nine spaces, including: - Morocco's first fully handicap accessible playground at an orphanage for children with disabilities, - A rooftop PlayGarden at an orphanage on the top floor of a hospital building, and - A state-of-the-art fitness room for an orphanage housing teenage boys.
