Mission Statement
The COVID-19 Pandemic shone a spotlight on the digital disparity facing many of our nation’s children. C2K is a national leader in bridging the digital divide, ensuring all children and their families have equal access to technology and the crucial educational, occupational, and financial resources that technology can provide to improve their educational options and their futures. Each family served receives a system, free technical support, and lifetime system replacement, ensuring that the entire family can access job and school-related opportunities for the next ten years. Beyond our core mission of helping kids and their families, we also address the environmental problem that discarded computers create upon disposal.Â

Technology has never been more critical, yet more than half of the world’s population is still missing out on its life-changing benefits, particularly in rural and developing regions. The COVID-19 Pandemic has exacerbated the effects of this digital divide, as connectivity has become a lifeline for education, healthcare, work, and staying connected with loved ones. Sound fiscal management is a cornerstone of C2K, ensuring that 96.91% of all funds received go directly into the refurbishment and distribution of our computers into kids’ hands, ending the digital divide for them and their families. Moreover, we generate revenue and ensure environmental sustainability by recycling and reusing all electronics our families do not directly use.Â
