Why Donate to Disability Rights Fund ?

Disability is one of the only marginalized identities that you can move in and out of in your lifetime--it affects everyone. However, only 2% of global human rights funding from foundations supports persons with disabilities--this number is far too low. Further, despite many new efforts around the world focused on diversity, equity, and inclusion, persons with disabilities are too often excluded. Our work takes a rights-based, community-centered, and participatory approach to making sure persons with disabilities are leading advocacy efforts to secure and achieve their rights. We follow the disability rights movement's slogan "nothing about us without us."
