Why Donate to DoveLewis Emergency Animal Hospital?
DoveLewis is creating a one-stop shop for veterinary emergency services and specialty care and building an endowment to expand access to healthcare for low-income families. By centralizing all services, fostering collaboration, and investing in state-of-the-art facilities and diagnostic equipment, we can greatly improve patient outcomes, care for more pets from low-income families, and provide unparalleled convenience and peace-of-mind for pet owners. With the support of the community, DoveLewis will realize its vision of creating the only nonprofit Veterinary Medical Campus on the West Coast. Pet families in Portland and throughout the Pacific Northwest will have access to the following: • A Coordinated system of care between emergency, critical, and specialty medicine • Access to new additional specialties in the future • Expanded access to board-certified veterinarians in internal medicine, cardiology, neurology, surgery, and radiology • Treatment options for more complex emergencies like spinal cord injuries, broken backs, and traumatic brain injuries • Additional space for education and training for veterinary professionals and the community • Expanded access to veterinary care for pets from low-income families
