Mission Statement
The Fabien Cousteau Ocean Learning Center (FCOLC) is dedicated to protecting and preserving our planet’s waters, coastal areas, and marine habitats by facilitating education, research, collaboration, advocacy, and empowerment.
Through knowledge, programming and innovative technologies, we collaborate with our partners to develop educational initiatives, conservation efforts and marine research projects that will protect the earth’s waters while connecting the world to our ocean.
Why Donate to Fabien Cousteau Ocean Learning Center?
The FCOLC is driven by two things: passion and science. Our programs and activities are designed to instill a conservation ethic to local communities around the globe as we strive to help people embrace the human-ocean connection.
By donating crypto, our Sea Turtle Conservation and Women Empowerment program in Nicaragua will continue to support the women who manage our turtle hatcheries, monitor and record scientific data, and learn the necessary skills for operating an ecotourism business. In that way you are not only saving sea turtles, but you are also improving lives.
Donating crypto will also help the FCOLC expand our efforts in the south of Florida where we are collaborating with other ocean conservation organizations to protect and monitor the marine ecosystem across corals, mangroves, and endangered marine species.
Your support will also enable the FCOLC to increase its footprint in educating youth through our Ocean Discovery learning packets for grades K to 8 as we lead students as well as adults toward experiential learning that also includes making a difference through marine debris and beach cleanups and citizen science activities.
And finally, your gift of crypto will fuel critical ocean exploration and scientific research through Proteus (TM), Fabien’s version of the International Space Station of the Ocean.
