Fair Count

Mission Statement
Fair Count works to build long-term power in communities that have been historically undercounted in the decennial census, underrepresented at the polls, and whose communities are often torn apart in redistricting.
Why Donate Bitcoin to Fair Count?
Georgia, like the rest of the nation, was transformed by the onset of a global pandemic and the American Uprising against systemic violence and inequity. The year 2020 was marked by fear, struggle, anxiety, and unfathomable loss. However, it sparked an inflection point, and born from the devastation was hope and a clearly articulated demand for better. Georgia communities moved from fear to fearlessness and from struggle to bravery. Georgians spoke up, spoke out, marched in the streets, and voted en masse. Your support of Fair Count will help us dig deeper in communities throughout our nation to make sure Black, LatinX and Native communities are heard and are counted.
Save on your Taxes by Donating Crypto
Why Donate Crypto Directly? Taxes!
There’s a reason high net worth individuals tend to donate property instead of cash. Donating cryptocurrency directly to a 501c3 nonprofit is more tax efficient and can save you money.
The IRS classifies cryptocurrency as property for tax purposes which means it is typically the most tax efficient way to support your favorite cause. When donating crypto, you receive a tax deduction for the fair market value of the crypto, and you avoid the capital gains tax you would have incurred if you had sold the crypto and then made a donation. That means you’re able to donate more, as well as deduct more on your tax return. The difference? Sometimes more than 30%.
If you provide an email, you will automatically receive a tax receipt after donating.
