For the Love of Alex funds emergency and life-saving veterinary care for pets of low-income households. We strive for a successful outcome for pets and an enhanced quality of life for their human companions.Â

In 2022, over 1,917 applications were denied due to lack of funding capacity. Time is of the essence for many of these animals, with the need to be acted on in a day or even hours. For the beneficiaries, this is more than a financial issue; this pet may be the only thing that helps them cope with problems in their life. Because of you, not only animals will be saved, but you may be saving the life of their owners.Â
