Mission Statement
MissionSAFE is a youth development organization committed to reducing violence and ending generational poverty among young people in Boston. We work comprehensively with Boston’s youth to provide education support, horizon-broadening activities, sports and teamwork development, internships and job training, leadership skills, and encouragement to achieve their goals and dreams.Â

Recently, MissionSAFE was able to:
Safely de-escalate gang activities making for safer streets.
Provide our youth with arts, community events and multiple sports activities.
Employ 90 youth in paid internships and apprenticeships.
Add staff, and more than double the number of youths we work with.
Build more partnerships to bring in the resources youth need.
But there is so much more to do. After two pandemic years, more youth than ever need what MissionSAFE is offering: a safe and challenging place for people ages 11 to 24 to grow and explore, to overcome pandemic depression, food insufficiency, learning loss, and violence.
