Mission Statement
National Veterans Homeless Support (NVHS) rescues homeless and at‑risk veterans in Central Florida through proactive street outreach, transitional housing, mental health support, and emergency financial assistance. Since 2008, NVHS has reduced veteran homelessness in Brevard County by more than 90%, becoming one of the most effective community-based veteran homelessness organizations in the country. We are the only nonprofit in our region conducting proactive Search & Rescue street outreach, locating homeless veterans where they actually are and connecting them immediately with life‑saving services. Your donation directly fuels high‑impact programs—92¢ of every dollar goes to mission delivery—and ensures veterans in crisis can move quickly from instability to safety. Our mission is to eliminate veteran homelessness and ensure every veteran in our community is Warm, Full, and Safe all year long.
