Mission Statement
Ocean Defenders Alliance (ODA) actively protects whales, dolphins, turtles, and all marine life from the plague of man-made ocean debris by locating and removing abandoned fishing gear and plastic trash.
Operating from ships and on-shore in California and Hawai’i, ODA’s boat and dive crews haul out abandoned fishing nets, traps, lines, plastic, and other man-made debris that threaten ocean wildlife and habitats.
