Mission Statement
Siskiyou Land Trust is a small, vibrant and incredibly effective conservation organization in the mountains and valleys of far northern California. Our office is in the small town of Mt. Shasta, but our work covers the whole of Siskiyou County, an area nearly as large as the entire state of Vermont.
We work to preserve and conserve landscapes – for today and for all future generations. We protect land from subdivision through conservation easements. Our work focuses on preserving pure source waters, natural forests, critical riparian zones, agricultural land, and access to the wilderness.Â
