Mission Statement
To Write Love on Her Arms is a non-profit movement dedicated to presenting hope and finding help for people struggling with depression, addiction, self-injury, and suicide. TWLOHA exists to encourage, inform, inspire, and also invest directly in treatment and recovery.

For nearly 20 years, To Write Love on Her Arms has been a movement, a safe space, and a source of hope for millions of people around the world. Since 2006, we’ve made it part of our mission to invest directly in Treatment & Recovery, but in 2026, we want to achieve our boldest goal yet by sponsoring 20,000 hours of mental health care in just one year alone.
Access to mental health care remains one of the greatest unmet needs in the United States. Too many people want help but can’t afford it. As we celebrate 20 years of hope and help, we’re inviting you to help us write the next chapter.
