Unison Fund, Canada’s music industry charity, provides counselling and emergency relief services to the Canadian music community in times of hardship or difficulties. For over a decade, Unison has been committed to helping producers, engineers, singers/songwriters, musicians, production crews, and thousands more through our financial assistance and counseling and health solutions programs. In 2020, Unison saw an over 3000% increase in applications for emergency financial aid, and the number of urgent mental health crisis intervention cases increased by a staggering 208%, with a 142% increase in demand for counselling services. Unison has helped 2200+ music community members with our programs, surpassing over $2.3M+ in funds dispersed through our financial assistance program alone. The need for support has never been greater in the music community.Â
