United Way of Massachusetts Bay and Merrimack Valley has been responding to local needs and our region’s most pressing issues in partnership with our network of community-based organizations since our beginning in 1935. While the pandemic has left no one untouched, it also put a spotlight on the alarming disparities that have always existed throughout our region. As we look toward recovery, this pivotal moment demands an equity-forward response. At United Way, this is the lens that will guide us to move forward in reimagining and rebuilding a more resilient community for everyone.Â
