Zaytuna College aims to educate and prepare morally committed professional, intellectual, and spiritual leaders who are grounded in the Islamic scholarly tradition and conversant with the cultural currents and critical ideas shaping modern society.

intellectual, and religious virtues, and we understand that the foundation
to that endeavor is sound knowledge and its accompanying ability
to distinguish the true from the false. So we stay committed to the course
despite the turbulence that surrounds us and continue to reclaim the tools
of learning that free minds and hearts from the shackles of uncertainty,
spiritual malaise, and crushing nihilism—because the Muslim peoples,
more than any other pre-modern civilization, preserved and developed
the foundations of all beneficial knowledges: our forebears believed that
where there is knowledge, there is hope.
