When users make a charitable donation on your donation widget, they can choose to receive a donation acknowledgement receipt for tax purposes. To do so, they will need to input an active email address.

Can donors make gifts anonymously?

Nonprofits accepting cryptocurrency donations via The Giving Block widget have the option to enable anonymous donations. Donors can still elect to receive a donation acknowledgment receipt, but they must enter an email address even if they give anonymously.
