In a first-of-its-kind initiative, both nonprofits accepted the majority of the grant in Ripple USD (RLUSD)—Ripple’s new U.S. dollar-backed stablecoin—showcasing how stablecoins can revolutionize charitable disbursements.
Ripple’s support will fund classroom projects, expand Teach For America’s Ignite Tutoring Fellows program, and launch a national STEM Innovation Challenge to equip students with skills for the future.

Wildlife SOS & BONK
The BONK community proved that even the most spirited corners of crypto can rally behind a cause with heart. Through Buddies for Paws (formerly BONKforPaws), the community fundraised for Bani, a nine-month-old elephant rescued by Wildlife SOS after being struck by a train in Uttarakhand, India.
Bani suffered severe spinal and leg injuries and was abandoned by her herd before being found by rescuers. With support from Buddies for Paws donors, Wildlife SOS has provided ongoing medical care and rehabilitation for the calf—ensuring she receives a second chance at life.
Founded to protect India’s natural heritage, Wildlife SOS works to conserve wildlife, restore habitats, and create sustainable livelihoods for local communities. Their collaboration with Buddies for Paws showcases how Crypto Philanthropy can cross continents to heal, protect, and preserve.

#TeamWater, Tiltify, and WaterAid
The #TeamWater campaign set an ambitious goal: raise $40 million to bring clean water to 2 million people worldwide. The result? More than $40 million raised—nearly $10 million of it in crypto—thanks to the collective power of donors, creators, and nonprofits.
With help from The Giving Block, Tiltify, and WaterAid, the campaign made crypto giving accessible and impactful, leading to clean water access for thousands of families.
Highlights include:
- $9.8M in crypto donations led by gifts in SOL, USDC, and USDT
- 25% of total campaign funds raised through crypto
- Record-setting livestream: MrBeast, Adin Ross, and xQc raised $12,000,000 on Kick—the largest amount ever raised in a single stream
This campaign demonstrated crypto’s potential to unite creators, donors, and nonprofits in one of the largest digital fundraising efforts ever recorded.
