About Storj
Storj is a decentralized, open-source storage network. Data stored on Storj is encrypted, broken into pieces, and distributed on the decentralized global cloud network. Storj’s default encryption makes all data less susceptible to hacking and data breeches. The STORJ token allows users to pay others on the network to store their files, rather than to a centralized entity. Thus, users with extra bandwidth and storage capacity can earn STORJ by lending out these resources to other users.
