On Monday, February 6th, a series of devastating earthquakes hit Syria and Turkey. In the wake of this tragic event, charitable organizations worldwide shifted focus towards the devastation, immediately ready to help those impacted by the natural disaster.
Below, we’ve outlined which nonprofits on our platform are currently helping in the aftermath of the earthquakes in Turkey and Syria. Many of our nonprofits accept crypto, card and stock donations, and we urge those who would like to help to donate in any way that they can.

1. Action Against Hunger US
Action Against Hunger will assess local needs and help manage earthquake response, including supporting rapid distribution of food, clean water, hygiene products, and shelter.
2. ActionAid USA
ActionAid is providing shelter, warm clothing, and food to those who have lost their homes, as well as dignity kits for menstruating women and safe spaces for women and girls.
3. CARE
CARE’s Turkey Syria Earthquakes Fund reaches tens of thousands of vulnerable people with emergency food, health services, shelter and much more.
4. Catholic Relief Services
Catholic Relief Services is working closely with those in the region to bring displaced people to safe, open spaces and distribute hot meals and clothing.
5. Convoy of Hope
Convoy of Hope is working to get food, water, and other essentials sent to the region as quickly as possible.
6. Danish Refugee Council
Danish Refugee Council’s (DRC) long-standing presence in both Syria and Turkey enables them to respond quickly and effectively to the earthquake disaster. Contributions to DRC go directly to securing the victims of the earthquake acute shelter, protection, and cash support to meet urgent needs.
7. Direct Relief
Direct Relief is focused on supporting search and rescue efforts in the near term and has dedicated $100,000 to AKUT, the leading search and rescue team in Turkey.
8. Doctors without Borders USA
Doctors without Borders is working tirelessly to provide lifesaving care, medical supplies, and support for local hospitals and partners following the Syria and Turkey Earthquakes.
9. International Medical Corps
The International Medical Corps provides medical services and training to people at the highest risk, and are working hard to provide urgent medical care and supplies to the survivors of this disaster.

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) provides emergency services to families in Turkey and Syria and refugee families in countries around the world.
11. Mercy Corps
Mercy Corps is responding to this crisis, rapidly assessing needs and providing emergency water, sanitation, and hygiene activities, working to deliver essential supplies to communities affected by the earthquake.

Oxfam is a global organization that fights inequality to end poverty and injustice. At this moment, Oxfam is ensuring all staff in the area are safe and assessing the humanitarian need in the immediate aftermath and will mount a response to save lives.
