The Tron Founder Strikes Again With $1 Million Cryptocurrency Donation to Greta Thunberg
On December 18, Tron Founder Justin Sun pledged $1 million in crypto to climate activist Greta Thunberg, lighting the internet on fire.
“As a young entrepreneur, I share @GretaThunberg‘s passion to change the world. Crypto will contribute immensely on reducing carbon footprint by implementing decentralized settlement. I would like to personally commit USD$1 Mil to @GretaThunberg’s initiative. #cop25” – Justin Sun
This was not Sun’s first foray into cryptocurrency philanthropy. We recent covered another story where, earlier this year, Sun won lunch with Warren Buffet through a $4,600,000 donation to the Glide Foundation.
