Dan Coleman

Senior Client Success Manager

Dan has over 10 years of nonprofit experience. His background is primarily fundraising development roles that cover the breadth of philanthropy – Principal gifts, Major gifts, Campaigns, Planned Giving, Individual, Institutional, and Special Events – to fundraising executive leadership. While the majority of his career has been dedicated to arts & culture organizations in performing arts and music education he also has served in LGBTQ+, higher education, and government organizations. Dan is passionate about cryptocurrency and crypto philanthropy and supporting nonprofits in the fulfillment of their missions. Dan has presented at the League of American Orchestras conferences and serves as guest faculty for the Essentials of Orchestra Management program. In his role here at The Giving Block, he will be helping clients reach their fullest potential in crypto-fundraising. Dan serves on the board of the Bluecoats Drum and Bugle Corps, is a coffee snob, and he and his husband Álvaro live in San Francisco, California.
