Help Us Build a Stronger Community, and Know Exactly How Your Gift Is Protected Dear Friend, Every community has people who are ready to thrive when someone invests in them. 100 Community Development Center Inc. (The 100) exists to be that investment. We are a Florida nonprofit corporation operated exclusively for educational and charitable purposes, and our goal is simple: to deliver service with a smile and positively influence the lives of everyone we serve. We offer an extensive array of services designed to meet the real needs of our community. Today, we are asking you to help us do more. Why give to The 100? Your gift stays in the mission. We are recognized as tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Our bylaws prohibit any part of our net earnings from benefiting any director, officer, or private individual. Contributions are used to advance our charitable purposes. Our leadership gives their time, not a paycheck. Our directors receive no compensation for board service. Any professional services a director provides must be reasonable, fair to the organization, and reviewed under our Conflict of Interest policy. We show you our books. We publish our IRS Forms 990 and 1023, our bylaws, our conflict of interest policy, and our financial statements for free at 100communitydevelopment.org. Our board receives the Form 990 at least 10 days before it is filed, and board meeting minutes are open to the public once accepted. We handle your gift responsibly. When we support other organizations, we specify how funds must be used and require detailed records showing how they were spent. We voluntarily follow the U.S. Treasury's best-practice guidelines for charities and comply with OFAC sanctions requirements. Our treasurer reports regularly to the board on our financial condition and audit results. We protect your privacy. Donor records are accessible only to the donor, those who manage donor relationships, the board, and authorized government agencies. Affiliate information is never shared or sold without consent. We hold ourselves to high ethical standards. Our written code of ethics and whistleblower policy protect anyone who reports a concern in good faith, and we serve and hire without discrimination. Your gift outlasts us. If The 100 ever dissolves, our bylaws require that remaining assets go to another qualified 501(c)(3) charity with a similar purpose, never to a private party. Join us. Whether you give once or become a recurring supporter, your gift helps neighbors in our community and comes with accountability you can verify yourself. Contributions may be tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
