Mission Statement

American Security Foundation (ASFoundation) is a nonprofit nonpartisan 501(c)(3) organization working to ensure AI is understandable, controllable, responsible, ethical, and human-centered - and insisting the best way to achieve these goals is for America and its allies to lead the tech revolution. ASFoundation conducts original research and analysis; supports external research and analysis; and engages academics, ethicists, and faith communities, both to educate them about AI and to involve them in AI development and regulation.
