For more than 45 years, Americares has met the health needs of our local partners and their communities. Each year, Americares reaches 80 countries and millions of people with life-changing health programs, medicine, medical supplies and emergency aid. Americares responds to more than 35 natural disasters and humanitarian crises worldwide each year, establishes long-term recovery projects and brings preparedness programs to communities vulnerable to disasters. Our work is powered by expertise in water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH); mental health; maternal and child health; infectious and chronic disease; and health equity. We take a holistic approach to health, delivering not just supplies, but dignity, equity and resilience through every program.
