Mission Statement
Appalachian Wildlife Refuge is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit coordinating wildlife rehabilitation efforts in western North Carolina by providing quality care for injured and orphaned wildlife, supporting the wildlife rehabilitation network through our ability to help all native Appalachian species, and offering outreach and education to the community teaching the importance of wildlife conservation and coexistence.
