Mission Statement
CAP’s mission is to empower the French animal protection movement with a united and compelling voice to influence legislation, through an effective and coordinated lobbying strategy. Our vision is an ambitious legislation that fully integrates animal welfare and sustainable plant-based diets, fostering lasting benefits for animals and creating a ripple effect across Europe. CAP offers an innovative platform that promotes collaboration between its 25 partner NGOs, reinforces their advocacy efforts, and drives legal protections and policy reforms.

We work at the heart of legislative action – monitoring laws, building coalitions, and advocating within political institutions to resist backlash and keep animal welfare on the agenda, even in the face of rising conservatism and instability.
