The Center for the Advancement of Science in Space™, manager of the International Space Station (ISS) National Laboratory, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that leverages the unique capabilities of the ISS to facilitate groundbreaking science not possible on Earth. The research we enable on station aims to solve some of humanity’s biggest challenges, such as developing innovative new treatments for cancer and other diseases, identifying potential solutions to address climate change, improving the performance of essential technologies, and even one day manufacturing artificial tissue and organs in space.
