Mission Statement
Cleantech Open Northeast's mission is to improve the environment and grow the climate economy through innovation and entrepreneurship. We work with startups that are solving the world’s most pressing climate challenges. Their solutions address energy generation, energy distribution & storage, energy efficiency, green building, transportation, chemicals & advanced materials, information & communications technologies, agriculture, water, and waste. The region encompasses Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, D.C., and Eastern Canada.

TIME just recognized our accelerator as a national leader! Each year, we enable 30-50 cleantech startups to save 2.5 years as they progress from lab to impact.
