Mission Statement
Fisher House Foundation builds comfort homes at or near military and Department of Veterans Affairs medical centers. Families of wounded, ill, or injured veterans and service members can stay at no cost while their loved ones receive treatment away from home. There are 96+ Fisher Houses located across the United States, including two in Germany and one in the UK. In 2024, Fisher Houses will be built at the Audie L. Murphy VA Hospital, San Antonio, at the Memphis VA Hospital in Tennessee, at the John D. Dingell VA Medical Center, Detroit, and at the Captain James A. Lovell Federal Health Care Center in North Chicago.Â
