Why Donate to Good Tutors ?

Why - Nearly 500,000 children in Los Angeles are in a life-altering academic crisis due to Covid 19 learning loss with Black, Latino and economically disadvantaged students suffering the worst, with more than 60% not meeting English standards and 80% not meeting math standards. How - We provide free virtual tutoring to underserved students in Los Angeles, encourage a love of learning by cultivating each student's individual academic, social and emotional growth as well as their artistic and intellectual interests. Evidence - Our program is improving outcomes and creating confident learners to more than 650+ underserved elementary, middle school and high school students in nearly 370 of LAUSD's 1,000 schools. Goal - We need to raise $250,000 to triple our capacity and reach up to 2,000 K-12 underserved students in 2025.
