Mission Statement
The Honnold Foundation (HF) promotes solar energy for a more equitable world. HF provides grants to organizations advancing solar energy access all over the world. We look for partners whose work reduces environmental impact and increases social and economic equity, and who demonstrate strong ties to the communities they serve.
Why Donate to Honnold Foundation ?
The Honnold Foundation supports solar energy access— solar everywhere, for everyone. That means a donation to the Honnold Foundation could help a low-income family in Sacramento cut their energy bill in half, or pay for solar technician job training for a high schooler on the Navajo Nation. Or, your gift could help fund Puerto Rico’s first cooperatively managed, community owned microgrid, pioneering a new way to access and control energy in communities around the world.
