Mission Statement
Male Contraceptive Initiative’s mission is to empower men, and couples, to fully contribute to family planning goals by providing them the resources they need for reproductive autonomy.Â
Why Donate to Male Contraceptive Initiative?
Because we believe that the people who see the potential of cryptocurrency will be able to comprehend the potential that increasing male contraceptive options holds. While the world sees over 120 million unintended pregnancies every year, we continue to prevent 50% of the population from contributing to contraception and, in turn, placing the full burden on the other 50%. Not to mention the unmet need for those who do not fit into traditional binary gender constructs.
Contraceptive autonomy is not simply a question of either/or it is can also be and/also. Expanding contraceptive options to provide a true method mix will change the world. But we can’t do it alone.
We view our work as grassroots and human-driven. That’s why we are always open to discuss our work, that of our grantees, and other insights from our donor community and beyond. Our “contact” email goes directly to one of our four full-time staff members and we value insights from potential future users and we aim to respond within 24 hours. Our team gives our all to our work and we would love for you to join us.Â
