Mona Foundation
Mission Statement
Founded in 1999, Mona Foundation supports grassroots initiatives around the world that educate all children, empower women and girls, and enable them to transform their own communities. We support schools and programs that serve economically disadvantaged communities. These initiatives focus on academic excellence, fine arts, character development, and service to train capable, ethical, and altruistic students who contribute to the betterment of their families, communities, and ultimately their nation.
Why Donate to Mona Foundation?
We educate children in need globally, empower young women & girls, and enable them to transform their own communities. In 2020 we supported the in-person and online education of 2,286,575 students in 19 projects in 12 countries. 90% of the students we support come from families earning less than $2/day. Pease see our website to learn more. We are also the proud recipient of a Pineapple Fund grant of $1M. This year, Mona will be supporting 22 projects in 14 countries as they fight COVID19 while enabling the continuing education to their students.
