Mission Statement
Our mission is to use music education to support at-promise youth – youth without the resources and support necessary to reach their potential; to help them overcome their barriers to becoming successful, self-sufficient adults. Youth cannot succeed when denied opportunities because of their identity or the circumstances into which they are born.Â

Music education embraces our diversity and has a positive influence on a youth’s grades, confidence, self-esteem, and sense of fulfillment. Tens of thousands of youth in our service area live in low-income households; strained budgets have made music education less available to them.
