Why Donate to Second Harvest Food Bank of Clark, Champaign, and Logan Counties?
Residents of Clark, Champaign, and Logan Counties are currently facing alarming levels of food insecurity. The most recent Feeding America data underscores the growing need for our services: in a span of just two years, food insecurity rates increased from 13.1% to 16.6% in Clark County, from 11% to over 13.3% in Champaign County, and from 9.9% to 14.1% in Logan County. This rise in food insecurity reflects the ongoing economic challenges and heightened demand for food assistance across our service area. In 2025, we served 45,048 unduplicated individuals across the three counties, distributing over 4 million pounds of food to those in need.
