Piedmont Habitat for Humanity
Mission Statement
Seeking to put God’s love into action, Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities, and hope. In 1990, a group of local citizens joined together with the goal of bringing Habitat for Humanity to the Farmville Area.
Thirty plus years later, during which over 70 homes have been built or repaired, Piedmont Habitat for Humanity continues to serve those in need of safe, decent, affordable housing in the counties of Prince Edward, Buckingham, Cumberland, Charlotte, Nelson, and Nottoway.
This happens through our programs of affordable homeownership and affordable home repairs. We work with individuals and families who have a demonstrated need for an improved housing solution, the ability to pay an affordable mortgage or repair loan, and are willing to partner with Habitat in the process.
Why Donate to Piedmont Habitat for Humanity?
The Piedmont Habitat for Humanity exists to serve those in need of safe, decent, affordable housing. This mission would not be possible without donors like yourself who embrace the simple belief that everyone deserves a decent place to call home. We appreciate the fact that you have chosen to give of yourself financially. You are making an impact for good in your community! Thank you for your donation.
