Mission Statement
The primary purpose for which this organization is formed is to promote public education and awareness of the importance of diversity and inclusion as well as the personal rights and civil liberties of the LGBTQ+ community, to charitably meet the needs of the community, and to engage in activities that promote celebrating authenticity. Silicon Valley PRIDE is part of the global PRIDE movement and is essential in raising the awareness of social justice and visibility of the LGBTQ+ community in San Jose, Silicon Valley, and worldwide. The volunteer-run non-profit organization was founded in 1975.

We are a community-based organization that celebrates the LGBTQ+ community in the South Bay. We have been celebrating Pride in the Silicon Valley for over 47 years now, and your donation helps us continue this tradition.
The Silicon Valley PRIDE Board and subcommittees are volunteer-run. Your contribution helps financially support the costs of hosting our community-based year-round events, Pride festival and parade celebration, allowing us to offer diverse local and international entertainment and activities. We strive to keep Silicon Valley PRIDE vibrant to highlight the LGBTQ+ spectrum in its entirety. Our goal is to engage, entertain, and excite the LGBTQ community and allies by delivering music, live performances, dance, speakers, and other activation from the LGBTQ+ and ally communities, culminating in a fun and memorable experience for the entire family.
